The Spokesman-Review Spokane, Wash. Wednesday, December 8, 1937 Lewiston, Idaho, Dec. 7. George Beckman, 57, died today following several weeks illness. He was proprietor of the Beckman furniture store and had lived in Lewiston 35 years, coming here from Ohio, where he was born. He was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus lodge and district deputy at the time of his death. He is survived by his widow, Ida; his mother, Mrs. Catherine Beckman, Delpos, Ohio; a brother and four sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at St. Stanislaus church, the Rev. Father James Gilmore officiating. Rosary will be said tomorrow night at 7:30 at the Vassar-Rawls chapel. |
