Mrs. Lida Benton Dead

Former Lewiston Resident Passed Away in Portland Yesterday.

A message received in the city last evening by Mrs. Edson Briggs announced the death of Mrs. Lida Benton in Portland yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Benton was for many years a resident of Lewiston, was the widow of the last Joel H. Benton and is survived by four children, W. B. Benton, of Portland, Ralph Benton, of near Portland; Mrs. Mary Dean, of Spokane, and Miss Ruth Benton, of Portland.
