George McCabe Dead

Succumbed Yesterday After a Prolonged Illness

George McCabe, son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. McCabe, died at 7 o'clock yesterday morning after a prolonged illness, at the family home on Eighth avenue. The funeral will be held at 7 o'clock this evening from the Vassar chapel and interment will be at the Normal Hill cemetery.

The deceased reached the age of 20 years on April 22 last and was born at Pickway, Ohio. He came with his parents to Lewiston 14 years ago. About two and a half years ago he suffered a fall from a chair, striking on his head and resulting in concussion of the brain. An operation was performed but no permanent relief was secured and for some weeks he has been in a definite decline. He is survived by his parents, his brother, Bradley McCabe, and his sister, Mrs. Margaret Sanders.

The deceased was a highly respected young man, whose death is a great sorrow to the family and the many friends.
