J. C. Miller Dies; Pneumonia

Clarkston District Farmer Passes - Ill for Eight Days.

J. C. Miller, 67, of Fourteenth and Poplar streets, died yesterday morning at the family home of double pneumonia. He had been ill only eight days, first contracting cold that developed into pneumonia shortly afterwards.

Mr. Miller had lived in this district for the last 25 years, moving to and from his ranches from time to time. He moved here and settled at Fourteenth and Poplar last March. He owned a ranch in Canada, spending a portion of his time at that place during the last several years.

He is survived by his widow, six step-children and one daughter.

The funeral will probably be held some time Thursday from the Merchant parlors, although the complete arrangements have not been made yet. The body is being held at the Merchant parlors.
