Vitus Oexler, 81, died yesterday morning at the home of James Hasenoehrl, Slickpoo. Since 1906 he has been gardener at the mission at Slickpoo. He was a native of Germany and came to the United States in 1881. Survivors include a son and a daughter, Thomas Oexler, Worthington, Minn., and Mrs. T. N. Lange, Muscatine, Iowa. The body is at the Vassar-Rawls chapel. Funeral arrangements are pending.
