Jessie Ogden, Peck Resident, Succumbs At 82

Mrs. Jessie Pearl Ogden, 82, a longtime resident of Peck, died yesteray at 5:55 p.m. at the Orchards Nursing Home of the infirmities of age. She had been at the home for 10 months.

She had resided at Peck since 1938, and had previously lived at Craigmont and at Troy.

Born Aug. 22, 1886 in Nebraska, the daughter of Thomas and Matilda Chapman, she came to Idaho as a child and settled at Troy with her parents.

She was married to Louie C. Ogden. They were later divorced.

Survivors include sons Edward C. Ogden, Pierce, and Louis H. Ogden, Peck; a daughter, Mrs. Viola Mahoney, Everett, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Cole and Mrs. Irene Nichols, Lewiston, and 2 grandchildren.

Another daughter died in 1959.

The funeral will be held at Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel Tuesday at 11 a.m. The Rev. J. Stanley Lyman, Lewiston First Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be at Normal Hill Cemetery.

Brower-Wann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
