Saturday, May 20, 1905 Mrs. Sears Is Dead

She Passed Away Last Evening in Spokane Hospital.

A message received last night from Spokane announced the death of Mrs. Fred B. Sears at the St. Luke's hospital yesterday evening at 7 o'clock, the direct cause of death being kidney trouble. Mrs. Sears was about 43 years of age and was born in the state of Washington. She leaves a husband and three children, the latter ranging from 3 to 14 years of age, and also three brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Sears was severely burned at her home on February 3rd and has been in Spokane several weeks receiving medical treatment. Shortly after her removal to Spokane she underwent an operation by which the skin was grafted to the wounds caused by the burning. Her condition was considered very favorable until the last few days when the kidney complications set in resulting in her death. The remains will be brought to Lewiston Sunday morning and the funeral will be held at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, under the auspices of the Elks lodge.

The deceased was a most estimable lady and her death will be earnestly mourned by a large circle of friends.
