Mrs. Silleman came west in 1881, settling at Spokane. At that time there was only one building on the north side of Spokane river, and Spokane was a small village.

She is survived by a son, Charles Silleman, Clarkston, a sister, Lizzy Washburn, and a brother, George Cox, both residing in Illinois.

The funeral will be held from the Merchant parlors Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Hubert Vincent officiating.
