Loren Snyder Dead Of Heart Ailment

Orofino, May 23 - Loren C. Snyder, 35, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samson Snyder, died about 9 this morning at the Orofino hospital from a heart ailment. He had been ill a week. He was born in Orofino and had spent all of his life here until about two years ago when he went to Alaska to work on a defense project. For the past six months he was employed at the Boeing Aircraft company in Seattle. He was a graduate of the Orofino high school and attended the University of Idaho. For several years he managed the Standard Oil distribution here for his father.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samson Snyder; one brother, Eldon Snyder, Pierce; and three sisters; Mrs. J. M. Perkins, Weippe; Mrs. I. R. Morrison, Newport, Wash., and Ms. A. Z. Hadley, Spokane. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Monday at the Methodist church, with the Rev. George W. Cooper officiating. Interment will be in the Normal Hill cemetery, Lewiston. The W. A. Shaw funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
