Death Comes At 67 To Tacie Southwick

Mrs. Tacie Southwick, 67, wife of Harve Southwick, Lenore, died at 5:20 yesterday morning at St. Joseph's hospital of complications. On March 3 Mr. and Mrs. Southwick observed their golden wedding anniversary.

Mrs. Southwick was born Oct. 12, 1877, at Elkins, W. Va., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Gilmore. Her marriage to Mr. Southwick took place at Southwick March 3, 1895. Mrs. Southwick had been a resident of the Lenore community for the last 48 years, living on a farm five miles northeast of the town. She was active in community affairs until her health started to fail.

Survivors are her husband, five daughters and three sons: Mrs. Viola Beckham and Mrs. Edna Koker, both of Spokane; Mrs. Goldie Mustoe, Southwick; Mrs. Cleo Schoeffler and Raymond Southwick, both of Kellogg; Mrs. Irene Johnson, Lewiston; Rolland Southwick, Marshfield, Ore., Eugene Southwick, Lenore; her sister, Mrs. Annie Johnson, Orofino; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Brower-Wann chapel with the Rev. George Calvert as officiant. Interment will be at Normal Hill cemetery.
