Death of Mrs. J. A. Thompson

Victim of Influenza; Resident of Lewiston for 15 Years

At 10:40 o'clock last night, at St. Joseph's hospital, Mrs. J. A. Thompson passed away following an illness of but five days. The direct cause of death is attributed to an attack of influenza. Mrs. Thompson with her family had resided in Lewiston for about 15 years, making their home at 413 Third avenue. She was a woman of fine character and her untimely death will cause great sorrow among her many friends and acquaintances.

The deceased was a native of Sharon, Ohio, having been born there May 25, 1873.

Surviving are a husband and two daughters, Mrs. Glady Funke, of Seattle, and Miss Inez Thompson, teaching school at Twin Falls, both of whom were here at the time of their mother's passing.

Burial services will be conducted Monday morning at 10 o'clock from the Vassar chapel, Rev. E. A. Wolfe, of the Methodist church, giving the funeral message. Interment will be in the Normal Hill cemetery.
