Lewiston Morning Tribune Tuesday, July 2, 1935 "Dad, The Popcorn Man," Passes On, Los Angeles W. H. Walhfell, former resident ot Lewiston who was familiarly known as "Dad, the popcorn man," passed away in a hospital at Los Angeles on June 2, according to word received by friends here yesterday. Mr. Wahlfell, about 76 years of age, operated a popcorn stand here for many years. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Sadler, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Elizabeth Denison, Kooskia, and a son, Fred Wahlfell, Los Angeles. Other relatives reside in Minnesota. |
