Marion Watson Dead; Was Born At Hatwai

Marion (Pat) Watson, 39, son-in-law of Bert Whitcomb, Lewiston pioneer, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at Bend, Ore., at 5:50 o'clock last night, Mr. Whitcomb was informed. Mr. Watson was born at Hatwai, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Watson. He received his education here and at one time was employed by the merchant delivery. His marriage to Miss Evelyn Whitcomb took place here 16 years ago and the next year they moved to Bend. He was foreman at the Sherman-Hixon sawmill at Bend.

He leaves his wife, twin sons, Jack and Gene; his brother, B. Watson, Moscow, and two sisters, Mrs. Ray Skeels, and Miss Mabel Watson, residing near Spokane. He was a member of the Bend grange and the Moose lodge.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
