Mrs. L. F. Williams Dead

Passed Away at Family Home Yesterday Morning.

Mrs. L. F. Williams [Lafayette F. Williams], for many years a resident of Lewiston, died yesterday morning at 10 o'clock at the family home in University addition from general complications. Mrs. Williams had been in failing health for several months and for some time it has been known that her condition was critical.

Mrs. Williams was a woman of many fine qualities and enjoyed the highest esteem of a wide circle of friends. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. W. W. Rush of Spokane and Mrs. Ingvold Brown of St. Maries and a son, J. D. Williams of Chowchilla, California. The funeral services will be conducted at the cemetery at 10 o'clock this morning.

Mrs. Williams was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Cosper and was born at Fredericksburg, Ohio, September 27, 1854. She came west with her parents when she was but seven years of age and the family home was established at Salem, Oregon. She was educated at Willamette university and on December 24, 1874, was united in marriage with L. F. Williams. She came to Idaho with her husband in 1888.
